New LPDC Brass Casting Facility Project
An update on Thien My’s low-pressure die casting workshop development and production expansion.
Striving Towards Perfection

In premium brassware manufacturing, the quality of the final electroplated finish is directly dependent on the surface condition of the cast parts. Even the most advanced plating lines cannot hide surface imperfections like scratches, pits, or parting lines.
Polishing and buffing are the critical steps that smooth and level the raw cast brass surface. Ensuring consistent polishing across thousands of complex, curved faucet bodies is one of the most challenging aspects of OEM manufacturing.
Traditionally, polishing was performed manually by skilled operators holding brass parts against high-speed grinding belts and buffing wheels. While experienced craftspeople can achieve excellent results, manual polishing is subject to human fatigue and variability.
To achieve absolute surface consistency, we have invested in state-of-the-art robotic polishing cells. These systems feature multi-axis robotic arms equipped with force-feedback sensors that hold and manipulate faucet components against automated polishing wheels.
There is a direct correlation between robotic polishing and electroplating success rates. Microscopic analysis shows that automated polishing produces a highly uniform, low-roughness surface that promotes stronger mechanical adhesion of the electroplated layers.
Beyond quality improvements, automated polishing cells deliver outstanding operational benefits. A single robotic cell can run continuously, matching the output of multiple manual operators while maintaining identical precision.
